St. Maarten and St. Martin offer a world of dining experiences, but why not start your culinary tour of the island here at the Pelican Resort? Our restaurants are close to your luxury Caribbean villa and renowned for their delicious cuisine, friendly ambiance and attentive service. If you do want to dine out there are at least 50 restaurants within walking distance of your resort. You’ll find everything from seafood, International and fusion cuisine to French cafes, Italian, Chinese and Indian in the Simpson Bay area. Ambiances are equally varied and range from casual beach dining under the palms with live music and nautical-theme dining rooms to pizza and pasta parties on a boat!

Further afield, Philipsburg and Marigot boast a variety of fine restaurants and the tiny waterfront village of Grand Case on the north shore of the island lays claim to the title “Gourmet Capital of the Caribbean.” Plan your own dining tour of the island, your Concierge will help you with restaurant recommendations and it is always a good idea to ask fellow owners, many of whom have been visiting the island for many years and have their own favorites. The Pelican Pool Bar

The menu at the pool bar features frozen cocktails, burgers and BBQ steaks. If you haven't gotten tired of the panoramic view from your villa's balcony, the views of Simpson Bay from here are just as spectacular.

Hollywood Casino

Located in the Great House building, our popular Las Vegas-style casino offers blackjack, roulette, craps, poker, slot machines and state-of-the-art electronic games. Don’t miss the Texas Hold-em at 9 p.m. every night and Bingo at weekends. Your Pelican concierge will be able to tell you about other weekly events or you can check the in-house magazine Pelican Resort News.

Hollywood Casino is open daily: 1 p.m. – 4 a.m.
