Toys for Tots

Help us put a smile on a child’s face this Christmas. Pelican Resort Club and Pelican Marina Residences are organizing a Toy Drive for needy and homeless children between the ages of 3 and 10 in St. Maarten. Thanks to your generosity in 2008, we were able to give toys to over 60 children at the Toys for Tots Christmas event, let’s work together to reach even more this year.

November: Beaujolais Nouveau

The annual release of France’s light and sweet Beaujolais Nouveau is a major event around the world. The third Thursday of November will find all Frenchmen and wine enthusiasts celebrating with fireworks and feasts in Lyon. Here in St. Martin, November 18 will find bars and bistros around the island holding tastings and creating special menus for the celebrated arrival of this unique wine. Pelican Resort Villa Improvements

In 2009, more than 100 villas received renovations and all 342 original villas have new bedding and curtains.  General Manager, Jules James, reports "We are pleased to receive the very positive comments from Pelican Owners about these improvements and are looking forward to continuing this project in 2010."  Eighty-three B1 villas received complete makeovers along with twenty Croton villas.  Be sure to watch for even more improvements to come.

Dining at The Pelican Resort

Pelican owners and guests now have even more great on site dining choices. Local favorite The Stone has opened at Pelican Marina to offer innovative stone-cooked steaks and seafood. Hollywood Café joins Ciao in serving up traditional Italian cuisine and savor authentic Italian gelato from Ice Cream Planet. The popular Pelican resort bars continue to serve up fresh grilled fish, chicken, ribs, wraps, and much more.

Preregistration

There will be two check-in desks at Pelican Marina Residence. The larger side will be for Pelican Resort Club guests and the side closer to the jewelry store will be Marina Residence. We will have personalized assistance upon arrival from the sales promoters to all owners and guests. There will be a clerk assigned for the “express check in” (owners who pre-check in on-line) at the concierge desk across from the main lobby desk.
